BRIAN HILL Premieres “Who Is Who” LA & NYC Versions
Brian Hill & The Noh Starrs premiered the L.A. version of "Who Is Who" via Northern Transmissions, paired with a colorful Nouvelle-Vague inspired video. To record it, Brian Hill went into the studio with John Anderson (Girls), JooJoo Ashworth (Froth) and producer Thomas Dolas (Mr. Elevator). Tamaryn contributed backing vocals, and Busy Ganges of Telepathe played drums. This is the B-Side of the NYC version of the song which premiered on Impose. Brian intended for each variant to have its own psycho-geography. On the A-Side version, Cameron Allen's (Froth) drums are tense and leave the listener feeling rushed, while Laena Geronimo's (Feels) antsy violin bring the song upward and upward. Brian likes to believe that the two versions were recorded at the same exact moment in parallel universes.
